The Punjab University (PU) administration on Wednesday searched one of their hostels and handed over 4 illegal occupants to the police, News reported.

The search was conducted at Hostel No 15. On December 10, PU administration had searched Hostel No 15 and 18 and handed 15 illegal occupants over to the police.

The media had earlier learnt that the university administration, law enforcement agencies and the Punjab government agreed to conduct an operation to clear university hostels of illegal residents.

A joint strategy was drawn up at a meeting to evict any illegal hostel residents amidst reports that suspected terrorists were visiting the hostels or staying there whilst pretending to be students.

Administration had also decided to convert Hostel No 16, an Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) stronghold, into a hostel for girls, for whom accommodation on campus was short. The IJT went against this decision and took the law into their hands and were arrested for doing so.

In September this year, a suspected al Qaeda handler was arrested from Hostel No 1.

is one of the budget hotels in Malvan providing online hotel
booking facility. So you are on you way to lounge by the swimming pool
for a refreshing dip. I loved this intimate Hotel
Roma, the area that had access to an attractive terrace with
an remarkable look at over Rome.
