Aitezaz Ahsan seeks Court order on Swiss Letter after Zardari Steps Down

Former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Aitezaz Ahsan Thursday said the court should order writing of the Swiss letter the day when President Asif Ali Zardari steps down from his office of presidency. Talking to media prior to the hearing this morning, the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s counsel in contempt of court case Ahsan said this issue is not about the corruption; instead, it pertains to nationality, as the respectable countries do not allow any of their citizens to surrender before foreign courts.
