Addressing a press conference after the meeting here, Palijo said that his party took other parties into confidence about the AT’s decision to take back the strike call.

“Irrespective of our differences, there should be no compromise on Sindh’s integrity,” he said. He suggested that MQM should also extend its reconciliatory process with other parties, including PTI, Sunni Tehreek, ANP, PML-N and PPP.

Sindh is being plundered in the name of corruption, he said, adding that the province should not be split into two parts.

Speaking on this occasion, MQM leader Wasim Akhtar said that “We have come here to tell Ayaz Palijo that we are facing discrimination.” “We will raise our voice on every issue of Sindh. One who is born in Sindh is also a Sindhi,” he said.

The MQM leader said that Sindh would prosper only if all parties displayed unity.
