Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that his party will take up the issue of blockage of NATO supplies in cabinet’s meeting (Monday).

“We will cut the NATO supply route in consultation with other parties and keep it shut unless drone strikes are halted,” he said.

Addressing a public meeting in Mansehra, Khattak said his government is trying its level best to restore peace in the province.

“Pakistan cannot prosper if there is no peace in the country,” the chief minister stated.

He announced that his party would adopt a resolution in the assembly to carve out separate Hazara province in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On this occasion, former opposition leader and provincial minister, Shahzada Gustasp, joined the PTI along with his supporters.
