Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that judicial commission could be formed within 48 hours if government was serious for talks with his party.

Addressing his workers and volunteers in Lahore on Saturday, Khan reiterated that his party would not withdraw its main demand for the audit of May 2013 elections. “We want to make it clear to Nawaz Sharif that we are not going to back out from our demands and that he will not be able to run the government,” he said.

He called upon traders to support his party for change. But he clarified that no trader should be forced to shut down his business.

The PTI chief also urged his supporters not to misbehave with the media teams and give safe passage to ambulances. “Media is a force in Pakistan. It has contributed significantly to promote democracy in the country,” he said.

Khan said that PML-N and PPP had achieved power through ‘muk muka’.

He pledged that former Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah would be put in jail for his role in Faisalabad clashes. “Gullus of Rana Sanaullah first tried to intimidate our workers and when they resisted, the Gullus opened fire,” he alleged.

Shireen Mazari has briefed media about the men involved in the Faisalabad’s violence, he said, and demanded that Rana Sanaullah should be jailed.

He warned PML-N that any attempt to sabotage PTI’s protest would be responded with full force.
