PESHAWAR: The flash floods wrought havoc in the Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw, where a massive number of human lives were lost; while, the bridges were washed away in various areas that lay cut off as a result.

The search for three foreigners who were working on Hydro-power projects in Kohistan, is underway.

The downpours in Swat and Shangla and flooding in Swat River caused huge devastations, killing at least 64 people in Bahrain, Madyan, Matta, Kanju and Kabal areas of Swat and Shangla.

Mingora Police Line has been evacuated in view of potential flooding here.

Silk Highway got closed as a link bridge was washed away in rains in District Shangla, causing Gilgit-Baltistan to cut off from the rest of the country.
