Nationwide Protest Against Electricity Cuts says Nawaz Sharif

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced a plan to hold nationwide protests against ongoing power cuts and high electricity bills.

According to the schedule, PML-N will stage protests in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta on March 31. It will then hold protests in Abbottabad, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Sahiwal on April 2.

On March 3, protests will be held in Multan, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Dera Ismail Khan while Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Kurk and Sargodha will witness protests on April 4.

The schedule further said that there would be protests in Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujrat and Okara on April 5.

The protests will be led by the parliamentarians and senior leadership. Traders, students, laborers and local organizations will be contacted to organize the protest plan.
