Former Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Amir has hinted at his return to the country by end of this month, Medai reports.
The 19-year-old Amir has been freed from Portland Prison in Dorset, south-west England after serving half of a six-month sentence for his part in the infamous spot-fixing scam.
Talking to Media in London, the former bowler says he plans to return by the end of this month. “Going back and secure the same place is my target,” he said.
However, Amir did not comment on PCB chief Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf’s statement about him, and vowed to contact ICC to review the ban imposed on him for playing.
