Pakistani Financial Condition Unsatisfactory Demands to end Power Subsidy (IMF)

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has demanded to end subsidy on power while declaring on Tuesday that Pakistani financial condition is not satisfactory, Media reports.Pakistan Finance Ministry

The second round of dialogues between a delegation of the IMF and Pakistan Finance Ministry ended in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Pakistani finance team briefed the IMF delegation about financial indicators, financial transactions, increase in revenue collections and keeping inflation rate below 10 percent.

The IMF team expressed reservations over Pakistani financial condition and demanded the government to end annual Rs. 400 billion’s subsidy on the electricity.
