Politicians and analysts in the current affair show “Nadeem Malik Live” said that peace talks and terrorism cannot go together, reports on Thursday. PML-N leader Tariq Azeem said that there are some people in the TTP who do not obey orders of its leadership. “Islam does not allow anyone to kill any other person” he said.

He condemned the Karachi blast that killed 13 policemen and injured over 30 this morning, adding that the attack could not be justified.

Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh chief Shahi Syed said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was right when he said that we need to establish peace in our house.

“Peace talks and terrorism cannot go together”, he said. The ANP leader said that the attacks on mosques and cinema houses are beyond understanding. He criticized PTI chief Imran Khan’s statement, saying that it would damage forces’ moral.

“Imran Khan is ready to get votes in the name of talks with Taliban but is not willing to be a part of the peace talks”, he added. He said that the talks are nothing but a drama.

MQM leader Khwaja Izhar criticized the committees of the government and Taliban, saying both are pro Taliban and unable to produce desirable results.

“Taliban are doing double game; they are in the peace talks and as well as doing terror activities”, he said. He strongly condemned Karachi blast, saying these types of activities are supposed to frighten the people.

Former Governor Sindh Moinuddin Haider said that the peace talks should be given a chance and should not be sabotaged.

‘If the forces retaliated, it would be said that the talks were going well but the forces sabotaged them”, he added. He said that the government should consider the other option as well.

Citizen-Police Liaison Committee chief Ahmed Chinoy said that the terrorists enjoy local support in Karachi.
