Peace Talks will end if Ceasefire not Announced in Week (Nadeem Malik Live)

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that there would be no peace talks if ceasefire was not announced in a week, reports on Monday.

Rasheed was expressing his views on current political situation of the country in current affair show “Nadeem Malik Live”.

“Things will be clear after March”, he said when he was asked about the future of the peace talks.

He said that the process of peace talks would not last longer.

“Now the forces will do what Taliban had been doing”, he asserted.

The AML leader termed law and order as the key issue of the country and it must be addressed properly.

He criticized the committee constituted by the government for peace talks with Taliban, adding it was a media committee of the journalists and columnists and it was not capable  enough of bringing the desired results.

Rasheed said that a huge incident would take place in Islamabad soon. He also expressed concern over the attacks on the forces in Karachi.

Answering a question regarding Pervez Musharraf, he said that the army would take decsicion about him and his future.

Rasheed said that the people would take to the streets if they were not given rights and the situation would be very tough for the government.

He said that Karachi would witness worse condition as MQM and religious parties would clash in coming days.
