Earlier, his statement was recorded at Islamabad police headquarters in Sector F-11 amidst tight security shortly after 2 pm. Former President Musharraf was yesterday shifted from his farmhouse to the police headquarters in Islamabad to fulfil the conditions of his transit remand.

Former president said in his statement that he did not detain the judges; instead, they were taken in protective custody—a decision made jointly by the entire federal cabinet.

The officer investigating the case against the former president has been changed, as SHO Rana Mubarak took charge from Sultan Mehmood. Police officials said the officer was changed after anti-terrorism clauses have been included in the case, as according to the law, an officer to the level of inspector investigates into the cases of terrorism.

It should be mentioned here that the Law Ministry issued a notification yesterday for setting up an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad.
