Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday called on President Asif Ali Zardari in the wake of crucial situation facing the embattled PPP government after crucial court verdicts, Media reports.
The two bigwigs discussed the contempt of court notice issued by Supreme Court of Pakistan to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilnai for not abiding by court orders in NRO implementation case, sources said.
They said the PM met the president an hour before chairing a meeting of government’s ally parties to chalk out future course of action in the wake of current political turmoil.
Separately, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shamim Wynne on Monday called on President Zardari in the Presidency, hours after the court notice to Gilani.
