Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani says security is one of key issues facing Pakistan for last few years, Media reports.PM Gilani

Addressing a ceremony at Command and Staff College at the Balochistan capital here, the PM said democratically elected governments have provided constitutional, economic and social solution to the problems of people of Pakistan, as compared to undemocratic regimes.

“PPP govt has improved macroeconomic situational as showed by all economic indicators,” Gilani said adding that PPP-led government has initiated a ‘biggest’ social protection scheme: Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

He claimed that GDP growth will rise to 3.7 percent in next fiscal year.

“We have faced billions of dollar loss in war against terrorism which is a menace for Pakistan and our thousands of soldiers have laid down their lives to eliminating this menace and for the national and global security,” Gilani said.
