PM Nawaz Sharif Instructs to Speed up Targeted Operation (Karachi)

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has issued instructions to the law enforcement agaencies Friday to mount pace of ongoing operation in Karachi, news reports.

The Prime Minister reached Karachi this day, on special tour, to attend a key meeting and briefing of the security agencies over the ongoing targeted operation in the city.

PM Sharif attended the meeting in Rangers Headquarters and took detailed briefing, from top security officials, over the outcome of previous efforts and plans, for future actions, of the ongoing targeted operation in the metropolis.

The premiere expressed satisfaction over previous results of the operation and issued instructions to speed it up further. Facilities rendered by the Sindh government, for operation, to the security agencies were also appreciated by the premiere during the meeting.

The Prime Minister issued instructions on the occasion to pay compensations, immediately, to the heirs of those police and rangers’ officials which sacrificed lives on duties in the metropolis.

“We will restore joys and lights of Karachi’’ vowed PM Sharif  and assured Sindh regime that the center would continue cooperation with it in the future as well.

“Until all targets are not achieved, continue targeted operation in Karachi,” directed PM Sharif to the security agencies and asked those to mount pace of the operation here.

After meeting with the top security officials, PM Sharif inspected a large cache of arms and ammunition, seized from custody of the culprits, exhibited inside the Rangers Headquarters for him.
