PML (N) PTI Candidates Face Tough Fight in Koshab-Haripur (By-Polls)

Polling is underway on Thursday in by-elections in Koshab and Haripur areas in which candidates from ruling Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are likely to have a tough contest.



Polling began at 8.00 am in the bye-polls for one seat of the National Assembly from Koshab, Punjab while in Haripur, KPK polling is being held for one provincial KPK assembly seat.

Three candidates are in the run for NA-69 Koshab including Aziz Khan of PML (N) and Umar Aslam of PTI. There are 327,335 registered voters in the constituency.

While in PK-50, PTI’s Akbar Ayub Khan and PML-N’s Qazi Asad are contesting. There are 153,374 registered voters in this constituency.

Polling will continue till 5.00pm without break in both areas.
