Ramping up pressure on already struggling government, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has reiterated his demand that Prime Minister and the President should quit or else face the long march, News reports.
Addressing a ceremony here at Lahore, Chief Minister Punjab, which is also central leader of the opposition PML-N, urged the PM Gilani and President Zardari to admit government’s failure and immediately tender resignation, or else the PML-N would announce a long march to Islamabad.
He said the claims of ‘revolution’ by some politicians were ‘fake’ and a ‘drama’, vowing that such elements would be exposed.
To a question about Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s mass meeting in Karachi, he claimed that ‘lotas’ (turncoats) were gathered by Imran Khan.
