President Asif Ali Zardari Convenes Senate Session

President Asif Ali Zardari has convened session of the Senate on March 12 (today); all newly elected senators will take oath during the sitting. According to the spokesman of the Presidency, Farhatullah Babar, the session has been convened at 10.00AM; during sitting newly elected senators will take oaths and afterwards elect new chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate.

Farhatullah Babar added that Senator Afrasiab Khattak will preside over the Senate session.
