President Zardari Arrives in New York to Attend UN Session

President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in New York on Monday to attend 67th session of the United Nation’s General Assembly, Media News reported.



President Zardari will address the 193 member UNGA tomorrow (Tuesday).

President Zardari during his four days long visit will held meetings with US secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Britain Prime Minister David Cameron and NATO Secretary General.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Information Syed Sumsam Ali Bokhari said that Zardari will be the first among the leaders of Islamic countries who will demand of the UN for anti-blasphemy legislation.

Bokhari said that the freedom of expression meant ensuring dignity and respect of all prophets, religions and faiths.
