The representatives from the two sides will sit face to face today to thrash out Terms of Reference (ToRs) and definition of rigging. The two-member government team comprises Senator Ishaq Dar and Ahsan Iqbal; while the PTI has Jahangir Khan Tareen and Asad Umar in the negotiating team.

PTI spokeswoman Shireen Mazari said while talking to media that the dialogue will start from where they were left.

It should be mentioned here that the unseemly incidents of violence in Faisalabad and Lahore, have adversely impacted the atmosphere of dialogues. Under the circumstances, the success of the talks is a question mark.

Federal Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, a PML-N stalwart urged on the PTI Chief Imran Khan to hold back his protest, as Imran Khan and his party are in the process of formulating strategy for countrywide shutdown on December 18.

Also during the course of negotiations, the two sides will take stock of the issues already settled between the both. The negotiators will also specify the next date for the dialogue to take place.

It should be mentioned here that the negotiators from the two sides resumed the talks and held elaborate discussion on Sunday evening at the residence of the PTI leader Jehangir Tareen.
