Rocket Attack in Quetta 8 Dead 15 Injured

Suspected militants on Friday opened fire and rocket attack in Quetta, killing at least eight and wounding 15, police said.

Sources on the ground say three rockets were fired from nearby hills, towards the city of Hazara.
The injured are being rushed to Bolan Medical, a nearby hospital for treatment. Security forces have cordoned off the area.
Police official Hamid Shakil said the Shi’ites were in a neighbourhood park when they were shot at with rockets and fired at. The attackers fled, he said.
Friday’s shooting comes a few days after US commandos killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
