Earlier on Tuesday evening, some unknown armed terrorists opened fire at two students of Jamia Binori Town near Mausoleum of Quid-e-Azam and fled away.

One of the shot students, Zia-ur-Rehman was killed on the spot while the second one, Misbah, sustained bullet wounds in the shooting.

The rescue officials moved the injured student to hospital but they did not see the body, laid in bushes,  of the killed student on the scene. Killed student’s body remained there for four hours and afterwards the rescue officials picked that and moved to the hospital for postmortem.

When fellow students and teachers of the slain student came to know about this negligence of the rescue officials, they staged protest and sit-in near Mazar-e-Quide and blocked the road.

The AIG, Shahid Hayat, personally reached at the protest side and talked with the protesting students and teachers.

The seminary students and teachers abandoned their protest, after successful talks with the AIG,  and scattered away calmly.
