In his post-match comments, Afridi criticized PCB saying that “it’s not fair that teams go out from the event just because of one defeat, it’s a big event of Pakistan. The PCB should change the format of this event.”

He added that the T20 tournament should be played on league format.

Afridi praise his team performance in this event, giving the credit of Sialkot Stallions’s opener Mukhtar Ahmed who scored 100 unbeatable off 48 balls, hitting 13 4s and four 6s.

Meanwhile, Karachi regions chief selector Rashid Latif defended his selections, and said although Karachi’s both Zebras and Dolphin are out of the event, they played well.
