Supreme Court Resumes law-and-order Case at Karachi

Supreme Court of Pakistan will resume the hearing of Karachi law-and-order suo moto implementation case today (Thursday) where officials of different institutions, will submit their reports, news reported.

A five-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, will take up the case at the apex cout’s Karachi Registry. The bench also comprises Justice Jawad S. Khawaja, Justice Mian Saqib, Justice Amir Hani and Justice Aijaz Afzal.

More than 300 miscellaneous pleas have been filed at the apex court pertaining to Karachi law-and-order case.

Officials said Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will be appearing before the bench today.
