US Terms Ties with Pakistan (very complex)

United States on Tuesday said that it was important for Pakistan, Afghanistan and ISAF to work together in the bordering regions to avoid the kind of incidents that happened on November 26th.

In a daily press briefing, US State Department’s spokesman Mark Toner said that there had been very high level contacts between Pakistan and US after Nato attacks on Pakistani check posts.

He said that the relationship between the two countries was very complex, adding that US wanted to overcome the latest setback in the Pak-US ties.

Toner said the incident on November 26th was tragic and reaction from Pakistan showed how important and significant this tragedy was for them.
