11 killed Several Hurt in Karachi Firings Incidents of Violence

At least 11 persons including rangers’ officials, police constable, and women lost lives and several others sustained injuries in various incidents of firings and violence in Karachi on Thursday, News reports.

Police recovered a tortured dead body from Rexor Line area and two more bodies from Khairabad area of Orangi Town on Thursday. These bodies were identified as Iftikhar Ahmad and Maqbool Ahmad, who had been kidnapped from Balochistan.

Two more dead bodies were found near Mewa Shah Graveyard and later on, they were identified as kidnapped rangers’ officials, Ajaz and Munir. The miscreants had kidnapped these rangers’ FS Wing officials on Tuesday, while going to Liyari from Nazimabad.

Some unidentified armed attackers shot dead two women, Karim Jan and Dil Ara, and hurt another, Yasmin, in Mehran Town area of Korangi. This firing and killings were caused by old personal emity, informed the police.

Forty-five year old Alim Ashraf Jan turned victim of indiscriminate firing in Khokhrapar are of the metropolis.

Some unknown armed miscreants opened fire at a mini bus near Chobees Market in Baldia Town, leaving one passenger, Jawed, killed and two others injured.

A political activist was also shot dead in Baldia Town on same day while a police constable, Mehran Chandio, turned victim of firing in Bhittaiabad area of Gulistan-e-Johar on Thursday.
