Major political parties are facing uncertainty as they have yet failed to announce the party tickets. Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has directed candidates to submit their nomination papers without waiting for the party tickets.

The Parliamentary Board of PML-N held meetings to select the party candidates for forthcoming general elections. The sources said that the party has almost taken decisions over their candidates to contest polls from Multan and Bahwalpur constituencies.

However, no decision has yet been taken about any constituency in Dera Ghazi Khan as important political figures are likely to join PML-N soon.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif would contest elections from NA-120, Hamza Shahbaz NA-119 while Shabaz Sharif from NA-123.

PML-N has directed the candidates from Islamabad to file their nomination papers without any delay. The parliamentary board would continue their consultations today to finalize names of the candidates.
