Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Monday urged PTI Chairman Imran Khan to wait for the next elections to become Prime Minister.

Addressing thousands of supporters in Lahore, Shahbaz said that Imran Khan daily invites singers to his sit-in in Islamabad and holds musical shows.

The PML-N leader said that Imran Khan was insisting like a kid to become the country’s prime minister. He should wait for the next elections, he advised Khan. “Nobody can take resignation from the prime minister,” he affirmed.

The PML-N said that Imran Khan wanted to establish a naya Pakistan through dance performances of women and girls.

He said that Khan used inappropriate language against Nawaz Sharif in his speeches in Islamabad.

Hamza said that PML-N government was working day and night to overcome all the crises including energy as it had launched a number of energy projects to eliminate the power outage from the country.

He said that PML-N has put the country on the way to progress and prosperity, adding that PML-N leadership was making all-out efforts to raise the living standards of people of the country.

He said that the prime minister had already announced the constitution of a judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging in May 11 general elections in his address to nation as per the demands of PTI but then Imran started demanding resignation of the prime minister.

Hamza said that all the political parties also have passed a unanimous resolution in the National Assembly in favour of the prime minister, adding that PML-N had also held a long march for the restoration of judiciary but as their demands were accepted they returned back from Gujranwala peacefully.

He said that all segments of the society had rejected Imran’s civil disobedience call as it was not only unconstitutional but
also an attempt to damage the economic development and progress of the country.

Hamza said that people would evaluate the performance of all political parties after the constitutional tenure of the government
while the PML-N would answer the questions of PTI through the development and welfare programmes like Lahore to Karachi Motorway and others.

Hamza said that Imran Khan used uncivilized and arrogant language against the prime minister but Nawaz Sharif did not reply in the same tone and showed his humbleness and politeness.

He said that Imran has violated the written agreement with federal administration after entering ‘the Red Zone’ area, adding Imran was wasting the time of the people.

Provincial Minister for Finance Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, PML-N Lahore president Pervaiz Malik, MNA Shaista Pervaiz Malik and others party leaders also spoke on the occasion.
