Addressing the participants of Azadi March on Monday, Khan said that he would make a visit to Sialkot and other flood-affected towns on Tuesday.

He lashed out at Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for failing to build protective embankments during his previous terms in the power. “Mr Shahbaz Sharif, stop doing drama and help the affectees,” he said.

He directed PTI’s workers to set up relief camp and help the flood victims according to their resources.

“I will never forgive Maulana Fazlur Rehman for making abusive comments about women and female protestors. We will wipe out Maulana’s politics in the next general elections,” he added.

He announced that PTI’ candidate emerged as victorious against a five-party alliance comprising ANP, PPP, JUI-F, PML-N and Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).

“This movement is not just against vote fraud, it is aimed at spreading awareness about people’s rights,” he asserted.

Khan said Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman travels in big land cruisers and do you know how much taxes he pays annually, a mere Rs 13,000 only. Khan said that Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal paid Rs 1,000 tax per annum.

“Have you seen the lifestyle of Abid Sher Ali? He pays only Rs 22, 000 as tax per annum”

Opposition Leader, who actually defends PMLN, paid Rs 64,000 in taxes, he said, adding that the time of the ‘Union of Corrupt’ is over.
