Policeman Guns Down Wife (Shikarpur)

A police personnel has allegedly shot dead his wife in Shikarpur district on early Saturday Reports. According to police sources, the incident took place within the limits of New Faujdari police station whereby a policeman, identified as Irfan Sheikh, allegedly opened straight fire at point blank range at his wife over family dispute.

However, the alleged suspect rubbished allegations, insisting his wife committed suicide, adding that she had psychological disorders, police said.

Police added that they have taken the accused Irfan under arrest and whilst lodged an FIR against him.
