Seven Killed in Karachi Violence

The assassins are still at large in the metropolis that killed seven people including a man and his son during the last 24 hours.

A man was gunned down near Malir’s Liaquat Market. A firing incident occurred in Orangi Town near Islam Chowk, where a youth, Yasir, was killed.

In another firing incident at Irani Camp in Orangi Town, some unidentified motorcyclist terrorists targeted killed 26-year Ghulam Hyder and 50-year Shabbir Hussain. The incident triggered panic in the area, where the shops and business were closed down immediately.

A body bearing torture marks, was recovered from Orangi Town. Meantime, two groups entered an armed fray in Lyari near Gharib Shah shrine, killing a man and his son in the crossfire. The deceased were identified as Muhammed Zubair, 40 and three-year Muhammed Dauoof.

Police officials said the man and his son were killed while they were caught in the exchange of fire between the gang-war operatives.

Meantime, a man, Kabul Jan, sustained critical wounds in a firing incident at Shafiq Morr.
