At least nine more lives have been taken by the unknown target killers in different parts of Karachi on Thursday, media reports. According to details, some unknown armed attackers showered bullets at a seminary vehicle, near the institution, in Al-Noor area of Gulistan-e-Johar, leaving one person dead and another injured on the spot.
Two more vehicles were attacked, one after the other, near Hussainabd and Liaqtabad underpasses; two persons 50-year old Aurangzeb and 60-year old Wahid turned prey of firing in Hissainabad attack while another unidentified man lost life in Liaqatbad.
The unidentified target killers opened fire at a 35-year person, Aslam, near Water Pump and fled away, leaving the firing victim dead on the scene.
Seminary Zikria Al-Khairโs teacher Qari Jabir was shot dead and Mufti Bilal injured in Al-Noor Attack. Seminary Matba-ul-Aloomโs administrator Qari Ali Hassan and his son Maulana Manzoor turned prey of armed motorbike attackers in another part of Gulistan-e-Johar.
In a separate incident of firing, the unidentified target killers gunned down Hamad Raza in North Karachi and fled away. Prominent religious scholar Allama Taqi Hadi was shot dead on a road between KDA Chowrangi and Matric Board office in North Nazimabad.
